Welcome to Honeysuckle and Rose! We are a small UK business that sells fine luxury cards and stationery for all occasions. Our products are 100% sustainable, 100% recyclable and 100% made in Britain.
We strongly believe in supporting independent artists, illustrators and charities so a percentage of every product we sell is donated to one of our nominated charities. Why not take a look at which charities we are currently supporting on our contact page.
Our small and dynamic team is keen to grow together and, wherever possible, work with small independent family-run businesses.
We continue to ensure that the environment and sustainability are right up there as one of our prime concerns.
Our Story
Life is always bursting with new opportunities and Covid-19 has encouraged me to take on this exciting new challenge. Why? The many people who have spent so much of the last year isolated and away from family and loved ones so recently have made me realise more than ever that the simple gesture of writing a card can bring so much joy and bring people together during difficult times. I wanted to do this by both supporting independent British artists and ensuring our products are 100% recyclable.
This is just the beginning!

About the founder
Miranda Knyvett grew up with a mother who regularly sent her letters and cards when she was at school and away from home, and she in turn loved to write back. She still loves to write cards and bring a smile to someone’s face and believes more strongly than ever in the positive effect that an act as simple as writing or receiving a card or letter can have. However, climate change is a major factor in Miranda’s choice of sustainable and recyclable greetings cards and stationery so as to make them totally guilt-free! When not running her business or writing letters, Miranda is most likely to be found outside exploring with Dotty and Gerty her Springer Spaniels.
Go ahead and get scribbling and brighten someone’s day!
Kate Goucher
Founders partner in crime!
Kate also has a love of all things stationary – her husband has for years said Kate had enough to open her own shop so being involved with Honeysuckle and Rose is even better! Always organised and loving a list, needed with three now grown up children, Kate honed her letter writing skills whilst they were away at boarding school. Even in this digital age her children recognise the importance of a handwritten thank you or note to cheer someone up. When not helping Miranda, Kate can usually be found outside with her black Labradors, sometimes gardening but often reading!
